Welcome to the brand new Standard Mower blog! Situated just outside the town centre of Leigh in Lancashire, with ample parking facilities, the Standard Mower is the only pub for miles around totally dedicated to promoting the local rock scene.

The Standard Mower retains a traditional pub atmosphere complete with friendly staff and a very warm welcome always guaranteed!

You can find us at 82-92 Chapel Street, Leigh WN7 2DB (Tel: 01942 702254). The town of Leigh is situated between Manchester, Warrington, Bolton & Wigan and is easily accessed via bus or by train to Atherton station which is just a couple of miles to the north of Leigh.

The venue is ideal for the intimate gig experience. Great acoustics help to make this the ideal rock gig venue!

Standard Mower Joins The Blogosphere


Been involved in the rock scene for a good while now. What better way to develop this passion than by blogging!? You'll be able to follow our progress on here and check out our gig programme.
