Last Big W Gig In Leigh!!

What a privilege to watch Big W play their final Leigh gig last night. It's certainly their tightest performance that I've watched. The lads were awesome. A big thank you to them for choosing the Mower as the venue to bow out on Leigh. Wishing them all the very best for the future in which ever direction life takes them! Cheers, guys!

Farewell To Big W - Last Leigh Gig!!!

After six years of playing together, sadly Big W have decided to call it a day. Got to say that I will miss them big style! If there is any good news, it's that the lads have chosen The Standard Mower as the venue for their final gig in Leigh. I'm really honoured and would ask all you rockers out there to come down to the Mower on Saturday 17th July 2010 to give them the best send off possible. Let's have the place packed to the rafters as a big thank you to four guys who have given so much to the local rock scene. They deserve nothing less!!! Hope to see you there!!

The Lottery Winners Are Top Dogs.....And That's Official!!!

Well, they've gone and done it!!! Mower favourites The Lottery Winners have won the 2010 grand final of Live & Unsigned at London's O2 Arena. Having beaten hundreds of other bands from multiple musical genres and from all over the UK, this massive achievement by the band cannot be overstated. If you want to know what all the fuss is about, get yourself down to the Mower for their 'homecoming' gig on Saturday 21st August 2010. Well done, guys and gals, awesome!!!

Best Of Luck To The Lottery Winners

Just a reminder to fans of the Lottery Winners that it's today that the band play the Live & Unsigned final at the O2 in London. This lot are awesome. Great characters both on and off stage! More attitude than you can shake a stick at! Good luck from us all at the Mower. Really looking forward to seeing you play at the Mower on Saturday 21st August 2010 hopefully as Live & Unsigned winners!
